Scrapping the Music Challenge 119 Give Me Your Eyes

Here is my entry to Scrapping The Music's Challenge #119 "Give me your eyes"
I have used:
Fancy Pants Rough and Tough All Star and Strips, Kraft Cardstock, Pinecone Ink and jute.
A nice simple layout, I tell you this boy is going to be a photographer, he is always taking photos, or pretending to. He has his own camera and he always uses mine too, he can take the funniest photos, ones that I would not, so the line 'see the way you see' really suits him.

The Greeting Farm CHA Relay Day 3 Toby Cub

Day 3 of the Greeting Farm CHA Relay. Toby was the digital image we had to use today, I think he is sweet.

I have used Creative Imaginations Rock Baby paper, and some old unknown papers from my stash, some ribbon, brads and I used Matt Accents over Toby. He ran a little but I still think it adds to his 'fur' effect.

Week 3 It's Your Birthday

I have finally finished week 3's ATC for our Yahoo Group. The theme for this week was It's your Birthday.
I have used pink cardstock, pink metallic paper, Collage Press Sweet Shop - Journal Cards (scraps from my stash), Brown Stayz on, Basic Grey stamp, Prima Flowers, Darkroom Door Word Strip, opera pink versa cube, AND my new I top!! See that cute little cupcake brad!!!!
I am loving this new tool!

Inkurable Stampers - Art Doll

January's challenge at Inkurable Stampers is to create an 'art doll' I have used a template from The Enchanted Gallery. I started with a cream cardstock base, and cut the bodice from chipboard. I then covered parts with patterned paper and stamped her legs with Versa Mark, then Sky Grey Versa Cube, then chalked over the top with grey metallic chalks. Her Boots are old Basic Grey paper and a Prima stamp over the top. Finished with Liquid Pearls and Seed Beads.
Her skirt is made with 10cm Green Tara flowers and tipped with glitter, a belt was made with lace, glimmermist and pearls. Her wings are grunge board painted with Twinks and then splashed with Glimmermist.
I have used an image found on the The Graphics Fairy as her face, then coated it with Matt Accents. Her crown was cut from patterned paper, then embossed.
This was my first paper doll and I think I like her. I have used her on my new ATC Folder, which is from Darkroom Door, coated thickly in Texture Paste, then I modge podged old dictionary sheets over the lumps. Then finished with some Grunge board painted with twinks.

Christmas/New Years Eve Family Photos

Christmas Eve at Mum and Dad's. Fiona made potent Chocolate Alcohol. Lucky Santa didn't get any!
James and Ethan putting together Ethan's present he got off Fiona and Micheal, the kids were super lucky getting to open presents on Christmas Eve.
Immy and Dad Christmas Eve.
Christmas Morning at Mum and Dad's. Ethan loved Sherk the Halls with the Gingerbread man.
Immy with another DS game.
Imogen actually squealed when she opened this present from Nanny and Pa. But there is a story with it. Imogen was shopping with us one day and when we caught up with Nanny she had this in her trolley, Imogen was so happy to see it there - until Nanny told her it was for a cousin, her face fell (and anyone who knows Immy knows she is a Diva and doesn't like not getting her way) but she just excepted it, she had a big frown and said 'she will love it' and she had a tear run down her check. No big tantrum like normal. So when she opened it you could not wipe the smile off her face.
Ethan got some Lego off Nanny and Pa.
Imogen and 'Big Nan'
Auntie Leonie and Ethan New Year's Eve, unfortunately it was so hot and muggy and we were all tired, I really didn't get too many photos. Leonie, Fiona and Myself (and occasionally Mum and Dad would join us) has a funny game of pictionary while the boys played the Wii. It is funny hoe bad a drawing some people are (not naming myself here or anything!)

Scrapping the Music - Say Hey - Challenge 117

Another Scrapping the music page. I do enjoy this site, and the challenge of using song lyrics, plus you enjoy music you may not have heard otherwise!
I have used Kraft Cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love - Relive, Repeat and Borders papers, Glimmermist - Lily Pad, Lemon Meringue, Dreamsicle and Vintage Pink, RW Chipboard alphas, Reed Craft Chipboard Alphas, Versa Cube - Pinecone and Bamboo, Making Memories flower, a button and pin.

Fat Cat Scrappin' Competition!

We have our first competition on our shop's blog

Go on over and check it out!

Ethan Update

Pa got a Wii with Mario Cart for Christmas, and Ethan just loved playing it, so off we went Boxing Day and got it for him. It has been the best thing for helping with his concentration level. He has gone, in this short amount of time, from just having fun ramming cows and driving into the water, to really trying. Dad and Pa both unlocked King Boo and we told Ethan the only way to get him was to win the right game and get to unlock him, which he did first shot tonight! He was so happy and proud of doing it for himself.

Here is my ATC for week 2 at the Weekly ATC Diary. The theme was summer.
I have used
Bo Bunny Flutter Butter Paper
Fiskars Stamps
Twinkling H2Os
Cloud 9 Rain drops
Queen and Co Anchor
Yellow brad
Starfish charm and Tim Holtz alcohol inks.
This page was just done for fun, because we got this paper range into the shop, and it was just screaming at me to use it with Immy.

I have used
Black Cardstock
Pink Mulberry paper
Creative Imaginations Caution Girl paper
Basic Grey Lemonade Sunkissed paper
Scrap FX Chipboard
Black and glitter embossing powders
Creative Imaginations rub on
Green Tara flower and a button
Pink Embroidery Cotton (YES I stiched! My pet hate - but I did it!!)
I still think I need to add some journalling, might type something up tonight, as there is a story with that photo. She did NOT want to be a pirate for pirate day, she (of course) wanted to be a Princess. But once she was dressed she did like the costume we made her.

A page for 'out of the hat' blog

I have just stumbled onto a new challenge blog out of the hat scrap challenge The challenge for January was to use circles, striped paper and a one word title.
I love this photo of Imogen, she is either in the mood for photos or she isn't. This day she was.
I have used:
White Cardstock
Glimmermist patina and lemon meringue
Collage Press Sweet Shoppe - Fruity Twist paper
and some assorted brads from my stash.

Some new creations

This was just a quick layout I whipped up using some Halloween papers at work. Just to show that the backs of some double sided papers can be used for other layouts too.
I have used Fancy Pants Trick or treat -Flying bats, trick or treat strips, great pumpkin and monster mash papers, an old basic grey paper from my stash, and assorted basic grey and pink paislee alphabets.

A Wedding card I created for Mojo Monday Week 119. I have used White Cardstock, Black and Silver Metallic Cardstock, KI Memories Frosty lace cardstock, black stayz on, Whispers silver pearl embossing powder, The Greeting Farm Wedding stamps, Creative Imaginations Ribbon and brad and Green Tara flowers.

This was a layout I did today for the Black with 2 site, but me being me, didn't read the instructions properly and when I went to submit it I noticed it is meant to be dominantly black. OPPS!!! But I don't think I want to change it, so I might have to do another!!!

I have used, White, black and blue cardstock, lace, ribbon, Basic Grey rub ons, Creative Imaginations rub ons, Heidi Grace pin and button, Chipboard snowflake, paint, icicle and baby blue stickles, basic grey alphas, reminisce winter wonderland - frosty paper.

Scrapping The Music Challenge page.

This week over on Scrapping the Music the challenge was to use the lyrics to 'Thank you for being a Friend' the theme song for Golden Girls. I have not done one of their challenges for ages and I was so glad to see this song as I had a photo Mum printed for me of Leonie and myself on New Years Eve.

It was so perect for this photo. The journaling reads "Leonie has been my best friend since kindergarten, through thick or thin. We really have 'travelled down the road and back again'.
This is so appropriate for a friendship that has spanned 22 years! We have seen each other through almost everything good and bad. Even though we don't see much of each other anymore the bond is always there.

I have used Teresa Collins Freindship - McKay's Flowers, Taylor's Flowers and Friendship tags papers, Basic Grey Lemonade - Frosted Berry paper, Kraft Cardstock and Vellum.

More Daily December Pages and Tags

I only have 1 more tag to go, the lovely grunge paper rose tag. I need to make myself sit down and try it (but my Christmas tag mojo went with Christmas!) I have loved doing these and using what I have, although I must be honest and admit that I have ordered an i-top for myself LOL!

Only a few more pages to go! This is the fattest little mini album I have ever seen, next year I think I might make it a bigger size!

Family Photo's and Happenings

Imogen and Ginge' This was taken by Ethan and there are some lovely-although out of focus shots. He is so happy with her 90% of the time anyway.

Imogen got a puzzle ball for Christmas Fiona helped Imogen to do her Princess Puzzle Ball. Thank God for Fiona, because puzzles are not my thing.

The finished puzzle ball. Yes that is me in the background, Ethan and Imogen are always stealing my camera!

I need to go through my Christmas and New Year photos and get some up.
