My Daily December Album so far

My Little Boys is no longer a Prep!!!!

Ethan has had a blast this year in grade Prep, he has under the guidance of his teacher Mrs. Fusinato grown and learnt so much. They had Junior School Sports last week, Ethan is in Red house - Baronia. I sprayed his head red he loved it. His team won and he got a first place ribbon.
Then on Friday he came home with a Pupil of the week ribbon for Confidence!! I was so proud and he was so chuffed!!!

Melbourne Visit

Last Thursday night the kids and myself went to Melbourne for our yearly Christmas trip. The kids had a blast but it was a late night.
Crown was the only busy part of the night. But the kids love the show. It was the same as last year, so Imogen was ready for the monkeys falling from the ceiling this year!

The Myer Windows were Olivia saves Christmas this year, we picked a really good night to go there was very few people around, it was a nice night (the only real downside was the traffic coming home, 1 lane only from the tunnel to about 1/2 way home!!!!) Myer was still open after we saw the Windows and Ethan asked the lady at the door if Santa was still there, and he was. So we went to 'Santa Land' to visit him and ride the train. We got straight in to see Santa, Imogen is still asking for a DS with Pet Shops. We were lucky to see Santa so quick the ladies said there had been a 3 hour wait earlier that day! We brought the book the windows are based on and a new gingerbread ornament for our tree.

The kids always pose with this dog each time we go to Melbourne.

Heidi Swapp Candles

I decided to try Heidi Swapp's House of Three Candle kit, I love it and how easy and effective it is. This got us thinking and we used stamps and the same technique to create the third candle and now I want to make more. Head to her blog and check it out.

My Daily December Album, Tim Holtz Tags, Snowman and Noel Banner

Just thought I would share the cover and first day page from my Daily December Album, I have used the Little Yellow Bicycle Mini Book, RW Laser Cuts Letters, Kaiser numbers, Twinkling H2O's, Little Yellow Bicycle Acrylic die cuts and Basic Grey Bling. I am still trying to get time to put my photos in. Day 1 was putting up our Christmas tree.

For those of you who don't know you need to head over to Tim Holtz' blog for his magnificent 12 Tags of Christmas. He is up to day 7 I think, and just by leaving a comment on his daily post you could win a prize. Also for anyone giving the tags ago if you email him a picture of your tags you can also win. But the best thing is these tags, Tim is WONDERFUL and it is amazing what that man can do. I have decided to play along this year, but I an only using what I have in my stash. So my tags are coming out a little different, but I am loving them and the new techniques I am learning.
This is one of the snowmen boxes I have made for Ethan's After School ladies. They are so cute!
And lastly this banner I have made using inspiration from The Girlfriends Club VBlogs Candy Cane Fridays, this week was home decore and there is so much I want to make (and so little time!!)

Some recent happenings

I have been working on my Christmas cards, I have made some like this and will make another different design next week. I also spend a long time making this snowman, we saw the instructions in a issue of Australian Stamping and Papercraft? I hope that was it! And we all had fun making them. I also made the little snowmen boxes for teachers gifts.

I have been working on Ali Edwards Daily December album, I have watched her do it last year but thought I would find too hard to take a photo each day, but so far I have had no trouble in fact I have heaps of photos. I just need to find time to get the photos printed and into the album.

Today we had Dad's work Christmas Christmas do at Delhuntie Park in Trafalgar. Ethan went on the flying fox by himself this year.
The kids ate about a years supply of junk in one day, with heaps of popcorn, fairy floss, chips, icecream and slushies!! Then Santa arrived with a present for everyone and threw lollies to the kids from the car he came in on. The kids also had fun on the canoes with Pa, especially when he was rocking them.
