Melbourne Show

Why people wanted to go on this ride was beyond me (but we liked the pirate) it was one of those splash down rides, so on an already miserable wet day, they were getting even wetter. So of course Ethan wanted to go on it!

This huge Spiderman poster was on one of the games. Ethan got a spiderman showbag and Imogen got a Dora. No surprises there!

The kids on a kid's ride, they got that balloon basket swinging really fast. Not the greatest photo!

Ethan and Fiona getting ready to go on the roller coaster.

About half way through! Ethan is a little dare devil, he loved it.

In the baby animal area. Ethan loved it and Imogen had stage fright. Ethan with one of the chooks, they were really tame.

Ethan with the whiskers cat mask. One word dork!!!

Imogen and Fiona with a Sphinx cat. She loved getting to pat all the different cats.

On Sunday (the worst possible day) Fiona and myself took the kids to the Melbourne Show. It was not to wet, defiantly not as wet as here! But we were able to spend some time outside, which we didn't think would happen. The kids loved the Whiskers cat show, the baby animals and Ethan loved the rides, especially the roller coaster.

Wednesday Stamper and Thank God it's Friday ATC's

Ok today I have completed two ATC's
The first is for Wednesday Stamper, the theme this week was 'Let the Sun Shine'
I have used the new Cosmo Cricket Earth Love paper, a Ketto stamp, green tara flowers and a heart brad.

The next ATC is for Thank God it's Friday. The theme for this week was 'Wonderful Trees'. I have used Darkroom Door Wilderness stamps, natural twill, a tiny tag, and a velvet brad.

Some Card Creations

I made this card to have on display in the shop I have used the Greeting Farm, Teacher Anya and coloured her with water colour pencil and stickles. Plain and metallic cardstock and the new Sassafrass Lass Me Likey paper (which yes I do likee!!)

This card was made for a friends birthday a while ago, but since she has just received it (just a few months late opps!) I can share it now. I have used a very cute Penny Black stamp, pearl chalks, stickles on his wings. Mesh ribbon (I love this ATM), Velvet ribbon and flowers. Finished off with a Heidi Swapp Happy Birthday stamp.

Another card just for fun and display at the shop. Simple and easy! Distressed edges, cuttlebuged, one of Sandie's Daisies. And a house shape cut from cardboard (I do have some Maya Road ones somewhere, but do you think I can find them!) Finished with a kaiser brad and a Heidi Grace sentiment.

Another just for fun, a few pieces of bright paper, some tissue type paper, ribbon, flowers and my beloved Heidi Swapp Happy Birthday stamp, with a deep purple embossing over a clear glitter embossing.

A Card for Kellie Winnell's Sketch #3

Here is my card I have made for Kellie Winnell's monthly sketch

The stamps I have used are the Greeting Farm, Cake Topper. I have also used pink metallic paper, Websters Pages paper, lace glimmermisted vintage pink. and flowers and buttons.

Puzzle Sketches September Entry

This is a layout for September's Puzzle Sketch.
I have used the new SEI Christmas Bird range, can't remember the name off the top of my head, but the flocked bird is just divine!I have painted a scrapfx snow cute chipboard word white then a clear glitter embossing powder, plus a bling rhinestone in the snowflake centres. I have also used the new basic grey Christmas range. Hand cutting the bird and twigs was a nightmare!

The first one is for Inkurable Stamper's the theme for September was "Down By The Sea"

I have made a rock wall by hand cutting odd shapes from brown patterned paper. Then I have used a Remember When chipboard mermaid. Her hair has been coloured with pens and finished with stickles and a Kaiser rhinestones. Her face was drawn on by a super talented friend, Samantha. Her top is made from buttons. I have painted her tail using ranger liquid pearls, which has given her tail a lovely textured feel.
The starfish has been coloured with Tim Holtz alcohol inks. The waves were made by cutting them from a lace paper and glimmermisted them with patina. The fish and word stamp are from the 'Rock the Farm' set from the Greeting Farm. The fish has been painted with Ranger liquid pearls, and the words ink with versa cube sand beige.

The second ATC was made for Thank God It's Friday. The prompt was It's Magic this week. I have ran my cardstock through the cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder. I have added plenty of stickles. I have stamped Fairy Tink from 'The Greeting Farm' with Stayz on and coloured it with water colour pencils. Her wings are filled with denim jeans distress stickles, and her skirt with pink doodlebug flocking. Finished off with plain brads that have been glittered.

The third ATC is for Wednesday Stamper, the weekly theme was 'Dress' I found the cutest vintage paper doll print outs on the graphics fairy blog. I have dressed her in a cute little outfit. I have stamped the background with a stampin up script stamp, then added tim holtz inks to colour the background. I have printed the words on the computer, then inked the same as the background.

A few catch up ATC's

Ok here are a few ATC's I have been working on but not finished in time to post on the blogs.

Wednesday Stamper - "Open" They meant an open theme, but I liked the idea of open as in a door opening. I have made a little door and used one of my favorite sayings 'when one door closes another opens'. My life have kind of fit into this at the moment. Behind the little door is a tree stamp from heidi grace.

Next is Thank God It's Friday - Skulls. I have used a fabric skull from the Pink Paislee Twilight fabric swatches. I have attached this with matt modge podge. I have stapled on a Making Memories felt crow. Plain red brads were used for the eyes, which I have glitter. I have finished with a Tim Holtz stamp.

Some creations to share

Ok I have been so slack on the blogging front!

Life is just so busy with the shop now! It is up and running and we are keeping busy and meeting some lovely ladies.

These are all for the Wednesday Stamper and Thank God It's Friday blogs.
The prompts were top left to right Dogs, Red & Turquoise, By the Seaside
and bottom left to right Banners, 100 and Funny Animals.

These are my last two swaps for the Dark Room Door "Wilderness" swap. If you ever want to join an ATC swap, you need to do one of the DarK Room Door's swaps. This months swap is Essentials 3.
